Klammer, post punk desde Leeds (Reino Unido)

Los ingleses Klammer lanzan oficialmente el 19 de noviembre su nuevo tema Broken Dreams In A Crashing Car, como adelanto de un próximo álbum para 2022.

Por estos lares no hemos tenido mucha ocasión de escuchar la obra de este cuarteto. Procedentes de la prolífica Leeds (al igual que Gang of Four, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, The Mission o The Sisters o Mercy, entre otros), Klammer han venido ofreciendo desde 2013 su enfoque sobre el post punk, el gothic rock y el punk rock con una sensibilidad de pop oscuro. Hasta el momento han publicado tres álbumes principales: Auslane (2013), Klammer (Self Titled, 2016) y You Have Been Processed (2018), además de diversos singles.

En Broken Dreams In A Crashing Car encontramos un tema de guitarras tenebrosas, bajo incisivo, batería contundente y una voz angustiada, que relata una pesadilla recurrente. Si os gusta la energía y paranoia de Killing Joke, sin duda os llamará la atención:

UK’s Klammer officially release their new track Broken Dreams In A Crashing Car on 19 November, as a preview of a forthcoming 2022 album.

We haven’t had much of a chance to hear the work of this quartet in Spain. Hailing from prolific Leeds (as well as Gang of Four, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, The Mission or The Sisters or Mercy, among others), Klammer have been offering their take on post punk, gothic rock and punk rock with a dark pop sensibility since 2013.
